Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only one of Richard McCormick. Her father was a schoolteacher and her mother was a stay-at-home mother. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. McCormick started singing and performing at a very young age. At the age of six, McCormick young, she took home her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency phoned and asked if she'd like to go into the show business. McCormick was chosen to play in her first major role in 1964 in the tv spot for Mattels most recent doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year she appeared in another commercial for Mattels Chatty Cathy doll and was soon cast in the play Wind It up until It breaks in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won a 1969 audition from more than 1200 children to become the youngest of three twins in The Brady Bunch TV program The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed and Robert Reed. The five-year run of the show proved to be a huge success. McCormick's memoir Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was released in 2008. In it she revealed that McCormick nearly lost her virginity on stage of the show during the fifth season, when she was a victim to Barry Williams. She was 16 years old at the time while he was.
